Verb verse

VERB VERSE consists of six verbs in the first two lines, followed by a sentence describing your feelings toward the action in the third line. Prompt from the POETRY LOVERS Scribophile group.

Here are three, in order of tackiness.

Uncork, decant, aerate
Inhale, slurp, pontificate…
Can we just drink it already?

Pick, roll, flick
Fly, land, stick—
Nasal obstruction cleared for takeoff.

Lick, nibble, sniff
Suck, swallow, savor.
I love blow pops.

Write one! They’re fun.
